What age is this program for?

Adults 18 and older.

My loved one requires help using the restroom, can they still attend the program?

Yes, as long as they attend with a 1:1 aide who can assist them in the restroom.

Do you offer transportation to and from the program?

Not at this time.

How much does the program cost?

$35 per Thursday session (out of pocket). Prior to the start of each month we ask for which Thursday dates your loved one will attend prepayment for those dates to hold their spot.

Do you accept DDD?

We are a goods and services vendor, however the cost is different when using this option. Please contact us if you are interested in this option for more information.

Can you try a class before you sign up?

Yes! We ask potential interested individuals to come to a free trial class to see if our program is a good fit for all of us.

Where is the program located?

Hurley’s Heroes Headquarters is located upstairs in the Maple Shade Municipal Building, 200 Stiles Ave, Maple Shade NJ 08052.

What time does the program start and end?

4:30pm-7:00pm

Do you offer other days or times?

Not currently, but it’s a future goal of ours to be able to offer the Hurley’s Heroes Program in other locations/times.

Do parents/guardians need to stay with their loved ones at the program?

No, Hurley’s Heroes is a drop off program, unless they require their 1:1 aide for other specific needs. A volunteer will be available to ensure your loved one is met at the front door for drop off and brought back to the front door for pick up.

Is food provided at the program?

No, due to specific allergies and dietary restrictions we do not provide food, however, should your loved one require a snack during the program they are welcome to bring something with them.
